I have been wanting to do some fun classes where you learn a new technique while you complete a project that you can take home and enjoy or give as a gift.
This one has been in my mind for a while, so I’m glad that I finally had some time to sit down and play with it.
I love the way it turned out.
There are several steps involved here to create this great textured look. I used Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint on this project. This is a totally different look for milk paint.
Usually when I use milk paint I’m going for more of an old chippy look like on this farm table.
One of the most amazing things about this paint is just how many different looks you can get with it.
I will be teaching both of these techniques with milk paint this month on June 28th. You can see my classes and workshops page for details on that if you are interested.
Happy Painting, Missy
