If you are making winter potpourri for yourself to use right away just slice up the fruit and place straight into the pot for simmering. Add any other spices you like and you are all set. No need to dehydrate anything.

Winter Stove Top Potpourri
- oven or dehydrator
- cutting board
- 1 orange
- 1 apple
- 5 cinnamon sticks
- 2 TBS whole clove
- 4 sprigs rosemary
- Slice fruit as evenly as possible into 1/8-1/4" slices
- Place sliced fruit into a dehydrator or oven and dry until done, checking often.
- Let dehydrated fruit cool, then add to a decorative container for gift giving.
