Hi, I’m Missy!
I am so glad to have you join me here today.
Welcome to my 1800’s farmhouse, this online space is my little home away from home. I hope that you will feel like a visitor here in my farmhouse, where we can sit down for a cup of coffee or tea and talk about all things home.
I’m sure our conversation would include sharing from scratch recipes, fun diy projects, making handmade items for our homes, gardening and preserving the harvest and a little bit of homesteading and farm life.
My goal for my home is to find beauty in the simple things in life, while creating a happy, peaceful and nurturing home for my family. I hope that in sharing these things with you here that you would be encouraged to find ways to create a home that you and your family will enjoy and love.
We purchased our farmhouse in 1991 and we are still working on renovating it. To say its been a long journey is an understatement.
It you stay around awhile, it won’t take you long to figure out that I love all things vintage, so I guess what I am doing here is Modern Homemaking with a Vintage Style.
Every week I will be adding a new post, sharing some part of my families life here on our small farm. Hopefully I will either teach you something new, inspire you, or maybe you will just be entertained by all of our crazy adventures.
